BioLost Star

I find myself a lost star among the people of the moon
Forever doomed to chase after the sun..
But my wish is to find myself back to the skies
so I may shine with my own light.
I dream of wings like the birds that soar
But breath like wind so I may fly higher still...
And dance among the white of clouds
like flowers dance among daffodils
And still it beats, this tragic heart
That binds me to the earthly mound
Emotions do not belong on Gods
And yet the price of tenderness...
To stand amongst the jealous eyes
It trembles, this heart of mine
And so I offer none of soft sorrows
Offer not the mortal right in mine
Above, where feelings do not reach
My thoughts will float to mere nothingness
And join the dreams that swirl into clouds
And my sadness will not matter at all.
So I digress that to this day
I yearn to reach where angels fly
And yet my hand cannot let go
Of painful humanity still
And I myself a lost star among the people of the moon

Will remain a lost star till the end of creation
Happily sad... Sadly happy.
No star can find happiness after all.
